Why did you choose Daemen College?

I chose to attend Daemen College because I loved the size of the campus and I really felt like Daemen was a place where I could grow, learn, and develop a strong foundation to become a social worker.

Why did you choose your present major?

I decided to become a social work major because social work is a very diverse field in which you have the opportunity to touch people’s lives, stand up for social injustices, constantly learn, and really understand the true value of things.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen.

My experience has been full of enriching and rigorous coursework which has helped me to become a better student. The professors have been a great help to me throughout my time here at Daemen.

What do you like best about Daemen College?

My favorite thing about Daemen is that they are always offering new opportunities to students. From the moment I stepped foot on campus I was, given the chance to get involved and explore the world around me. I have been able to help out in the community, attend conferences, meet new people, join clubs and organizations, and study abroad!

What clubs or organizations have you been a part of here at Daemen College? What kinds of things do they do?

I am a part of the Daemen College Honors Program, Psychology Club, Women’s Lacrosse Club, the Social Work Alliance, and I am also a Spanish and Biology coach. Most of the clubs I am in participate in  host fundraisers for organizations, hold study nights, go on field trips, and plan exciting activities throughout the semester.

What is your favorite campus hangout? Why?

My favorite place to hangout is the RIC. It has many different places to study and relax in a calm and comfortable environment. It also offers a variety of beautiful views of the campus.
