Why did you choose Daemen College?

I chose Daemen because the campus is small and intimate and I wanted to attend a school where the professors knew my name. I also believe that Daemen's outstanding reputation would give me favor with future employers.

Why did you choose your present major?

I chose social work because at some point in life everyone needs help. I'd ideally like to work with people struggling with addiction.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen College.

My experience at Daemen College has been challenging but completely worth it. Daemen has provided me with the educational and hands-on experience I need to function as a professional social worker.

What clubs or organizations have you been a part of at Daemen College? What kinds of things do they do?

I'm a member of the Social Work Alliance. The club hosts fundraisers, lunch and learns, and an amazing annual Humanitarian Dinner to celebrate the social work profession.

What is your favorite campus hangout? Why?

The Den is my favorite hangout because you can enjoy delicious food while comfortably finishing up a few assignments.

What are your plans after graduation?

My plan after graduation is to obtain my licensure and work in an agency servicing the mental health and addiction population.
