Why did you choose Daemen College?

I chose Daemen because when I had to transfer schools they were open and welcoming. All of my classes were transferred easily and it made for a stress-less transition

Why did you choose your present major?

I chose my present major because I have always had an interest in business, specifically the marketing and advertising side. When I came to Daemen and saw there was also a sustainability program, I quickly decided to put that under my belt as well because sustainability has always been a passion of mine and is a great compliment to business.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen College. (Ex: It is challenging, but I know it will prepare me for my career, etc.)

The academic experience at Daemen is challenging yet invigorating. I like the push that we are given in our work as well as the fact that it will help us learn how to handle real life situations and work loads.

Please describe the impact Daemen faculty, staff and advisors have had on you.

When coming to Daemen, I was switching from an art school to here. Figuring out my major was a little difficult at first because I had an art interest but was not interested in going into an art-only program. My major at my previous college was Business of Art and Design. Here, the advisors really helped my figure out what my program should be, how I can make a career out of it, and how I could have two majors while still graduating in an adequate amount of time.

What are your plans after graduation?

After graduation, I hope to gain experience at a local advertising agency while building my portfolio and strengthen and applying my knowledge of sustainability.

What clubs or organizations have you been a part of here at Daemen College? What kinds of things do they do?

At Daemen I am part of the Marketing Collaboratory. We collaborate with local organizations to help with their marketing and advertising needs. This give us real, hands on resume-worthy experience that can help us with our future careers.
