Why did you choose Daemen College?
I came to Daemen College not only because they have a great athletic training program, but also because of the close, family-like atmosphere.
Why did you choose your present major?
I chose athletic training because I have always been involved in sports. Also, I find the treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries fascinating. I have grown to love my major even more over the past few years at Daemen and I look forward to becoming an athletic trainer soon.
Please describe your academic experience at Daemen.
My academic experience at Daemen has been challenging but very beneficial. Also, the professors here are very helpful and willing to help you to succeed.
What clubs or organizations have you been a part of here at Daemen? What kinds of things do they do?
I am a member of the Athletic Training Student Association (ATSA). As a member of ATSA I help plan fundraising events on campus for the club. Also, ATSA gives me the opportunity to attend different educational athletic training events.
Please describe any internship, study abroad, service learning or academic experience? (For example, Academic Festival, Research Think Tank, etc.)
During the Fall 2018 semester I studied abroad in Limerick, Ireland at the University of Limerick. Studying abroad helped me to experience new cultures and meet people from around the world.
