Why did you choose Daemen College?

I was being recruited by the triathlon coach here and when I came to visit I loved not only the attitudes and friendliness of the people on campus but also was impressed by the focus the school provided on academics and real world experience.

Why did you choose your present major?

I want to become a lawyer one day and felt that Political Science would best prepare me for law school and for the career path I want to take.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen College. (Ex: It is challenging, but I know it will prepare me for my career..etc)

So far my academic experience at Daemen has been slightly challenging however I know that once I make the adjustment to college life I will have no issues keeping up with the workload.

Please describe the impact Daemen faculty, staff and advisors have had on you.

All the staff and personnel at Daemen have been extremely helpful and kind in guiding me through my first few weeks of freshman year. I no longer have doubts about my ability to succeed at Daemen or about the staffs willingness to help and guide me towards that success, their encouragement and patience has really helped to motivate me to work hard.

What are your plans after graduation?

My plans following graduation are to go to law school and pass the bar exam where I can then go on to become a JAG officer in the military. I also hope to continue competing in triathlon as a club or individual athlete.

What clubs or organizations have you been a part of here at Daemen College? What kinds of things do they do?

I belong to the triathlon team at Daemen. We practice 6 days a week and travel to races to compete.
