Why did you choose Daemen College?

I really loved the campus size and location. I felt like it was a good fit for me because I'm from a really small town and I didn't want to be overwhelmed by a big campus. 

Why did you choose your present major?

I love reading and writing and find it to be my greatest academic strength.  The faculty has only increased my strengths and interests in English.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen.

The faculty here are great; they are so invested in your education and get to know you on a personal level. I've had some challenges along the way, but I've learned a lot and have done quite well thanks to my professors. There's always help here if you need it, from coaches to office hours. Everyone here wants you to succeed.

Do you live on campus? Please tell us about your on campus experiences.

I've lived in both Canavan and the Campus Apartments. Dorming has been a really fun experience for me. I've met great people and developed really close friendships with people who I never would have met if I hadn't dormed. I really recommend it, even just for one year. It's a really important and fun part of the college experience.

What is your favorite campus hangout? Why?

The pillow room on the third floor of RIC is always a comfortable place to study. I also really like the quiet floor, since it helps me to concentrate and get everything done with little to no distractions.
