Why did you choose Daemen?
I knew I would get one on one attention from my professors, and that my education matters to them. I feel an insane amount of comfort being so far from home due to the community and family-like atmosphere around campus.
What advice would you give to a prospective student?
Don’t be afraid! You’re going to make so many memories and experience amazing times with the best people you have ever met. Always keep an open mind, and the allow yourself to try new things.
Who is your favorite professor and why?
I have two! Dr. Waterhouse (acting professor) and Dr. Marck (Head of English Department). They have really helped me to grow in my acting, as well as my writing. I am able to come in and speak with them any time about a problem I may be having with an assignment, or anything outside of the class. They have paved the way for new opportunities for me!
What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?
So far, experiencing this type of snow with my best for the first time!
What excites you most about being a tour guide?
I can’t wait to see the excitement in prospective student’s eyes when they visit Daemen. It’s an exciting thing to make the decision to go to college, and I am excited to ease any fears or answer any questions they might have. I also can’t wait to see them when they decide to attend Daemen in future years to come!
How has Daemen changed/shaped your life?
I have met the most caring, fun, and generous people in my life. I was very shy in high school and not very personable, but Daemen and the experiences I’ve had have helped me to grow into a person who likes to be involved and be around other people. I have also grown into more of an adult as I have had to make adult decisions, such as making my own doctor’s appointments ;)
