4:00 PM to 8:00 PM - Business Building: VITA - tax preparation - Mondays through April 8th 4:00 - 8:00pmTax preparation services offered through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, will be available by appointment only to area residents with annual incomes below $56,000. Residents with incomes that slightly exceed this limit may be eligible for assistance based on their tax profile. To schedule an appointment or for more information, email vita@daemen.edu or call 839-7646. Tax clients are requested to bring their Social Security card, a valid driver’s license or photo identification, and, if applicable, W-2, 1099, 1098T, and 1095 forms. Along with 2017 tax returns, information on deductions and credits, tax ID number, copies of income transcripts form the IRS, and, if required, the total paid to a day care provider will be needed to complete tax returns. Both spouses must be present if filing a joint return.
