The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), a division of the National Center for Education Statistics, collects data from all institutions of higher education in the United States. These data are then made available to the public.
IPEDS Custom Data Feedback Report 2023: The Data Feedback Report (DFR) provides a snapshot of how a target institution (in our case, Daemen University) compares to similar institutions on several key measures of institutional functioning.
CIC KIT Report 2024: The Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) provides an annual report of institutional data for all of its members. This report compares data for the target institution to a group of peer institutions. The data report, called the Key Indicators Tool (KIT), is based on data submitted to IPEDS. A summary of the KIT data findings is available from the Institutional Research Office.
Annual Surveys
IPEDS collects detailed data from all institutions of higher education on an annual basis. These data are collected through several individual data surveys that are deployed throughout the academic year. The most recent survey data for Daemen University is presented below.
Institutional Characteristics: This annual survey collects various types of information relating to general characteristics of the institution, including tuition and fees. The most recent survey has data for the 2023-24 academic year.
Fall Enrollment Survey: This annual survey collects detailed data concerning fall enrollment statistics. The most recent survey has data for Fall 2023, reported as of the institutional census day.
Graduation Rate Survey: This annual survey collects graduation rates for the specified cohort of first-time, full-time students. The most recent survey has 4-, 6- and 8-year graduation rates for the Fall 2015 cohort.
Student Financial Aid Survey: This annual survey collects student financial aid awards data. The most recent survey has data for the 2022-23 academic year.
Finance Survey: This annual survey collects data on various fiscal measures, including revenues, expenses, and endowments. The most recent survey has data for the 2023 fiscal year.
Human Resources: This annual survey collects data on the number and average salaries of employees by job classification. The most recent survey has data for Fall 2023.
