Beginning this fall, Daemen College and SUNY Erie Community College will offer a unique and affordable dual admission program that will provide qualified SUNY Erie students access to Daemen resources before they seamlessly transfer to the institution to complete their degree.

"The partnership between SUNY Erie and Daemen will provide students with a number of options to ensure a smooth transition from the two-year to the four-year experience. Having access to advisement services from both colleges and the option of living on the Daemen campus for the full four years, even while attending classes at SUNY Erie, this partnership takes the transfer experience to a new level,” said SUNY Erie Provost and Executive Vice President Dr. Doug Scheidt.

While attending SUNY Erie, students enrolled in this program will be able to live on Daemen's campus and have access to Daemen's shuttle service for transportation. This opportunity will allow students to make connections, participate in Daemen activities and events, and experience the full residential student college environment.

Campus facilities, including the Daemen College Research and Information Commons, which offers library services, the Wick Dining Room and services, and the Academic and Wellness Center will also be available to students taking advantage of this program.

"Daemen and SUNY Erie are collaborating to ensure that all students who want a path to a bachelor's or graduate degree can get one as affordably as possible,” said Dr. Greg Nayor, vice president for strategic initiatives at Daemen College. "Designed for people who may need a little more preparation before enrolling in a four-year program or who are watching college costs, this unique partnership allows students to start at SUNY Erie and work towards their associates degree while taking advantage of the services and resources available at Daemen.”
