Why did you choose Daemen?

When I stepped on campus during my tour, I had that "feeling" that everyone talks about. I felt at home, and knew Daemen would be the best place for me to grow as an adult.

In what ways are you involved on campus?

Chair of Campus Activities Team; Honors Program Peer Mentor Coordinator; Orientation Leader; Education Club

What advice would you give to a prospective student?

Don't forget about your hobbies! During the semester, it can be very easy for me to get into the habit of class, work, homework, sleep, repeat. However, it is crucial to take time for yourself and engage in activities that "fill your cup." For me, this means getting off my phone and reading or coloring.

What excites you most about being a tour guide?

My first visit to campus was when I knew Daemen was the right choice for me, and part of it was due to my Tour Guide being so welcoming. I want to hopefully provide that same feeling for prospective students.

What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?

My most memorable moment at Daemen would be the late-night debrief sessions with my roommates in the midst of the chaos of the semester. We have very different schedules, and don't get to talk much during the day. It is always refreshing to chat late at night when we all should be sleeping.

How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?

Daemen has made me more confident in myself in terms of travel. I have been on two short-term study abroad programs through Global Programs, and both have increased my desire to travel outside of the U.S. These opportunities have also made me interested in solo-traveling, which is something I never would have seen myself doing before coming to Daemen.

Who inspires you the most?

As cheesy as it sounds, my Mom inspires me the most. She has always been my rock, and I have always looked up to her for her work ethic and patience.
