She will succeed Dr. Richanne C. Mankey who is stepping down as vice president to serve as president of Defiance College in Ohio.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Dr. Michael Brogan, Daemen College vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, has been appointed to the editorial advisory board for the prestigious journal Wounds.
AMHERST, N.Y. – Dr. Maureen Millane, associate vice president for community engagement, creativity and career development at Daemen College, has been elected to a two-year term as treasurer of the Washington Internship Institute.
4:30 PM to 6:30 PM - Schenck Hall - Room 107: With severe weather events becoming more frequent and more extreme, it is more important than ever that New Yorkers are prepared for disasters. The NY Citizen Preparedness Training Program teaches residents to have the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible to normal conditions. This training course will provide an introduction to responding to a natural or manmade disaster. Participants will be advised on how to properly prepare for any disaster, including developing a family emergency plan and stocking up on emergency supplies. Each family that attends will receive one preparedness kit.
