Babcock Appointed Assistant Vice President for Facilities Management and Capital Projects

Daemen University announced today the appointment of Jeremy Babcock as the new Assistant Vice President for Facilities Management and Capital Projects. 

Mr. Babcock, who will begin work on June 29, comes to Daemen from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he served as Executive Director of Auxiliary Services. At RIT, he supervised a staff of over 35 employees and managed operating and capital budgets exceeding $10 million. His experience includes working at both larger institutions and smaller campuses, such as SUNY Brockport. 

At Daemen, he will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and direction of the facilities management activities of the university, along with the selection and oversight of third-party service providers, recurring service contracts, ground maintenance, as well as capital projects. Additionally, Jeremy will collaborate with the President and members of the Cabinet on major project requests. 

Jeremy serves as the Third Lieutenant of the Albion Joint Fire District with over 13 years of experience in fire service. He is presently a resident of Albion, N.Y.
