Daemen Launches Early Decision Option With Four-Year Tuition Guarantee

Oct 1, 2019

AMHERST, N.Y. – Daemen College has launched a new early decision option with a four-year tuition guarantee, giving new first-time students seeking admission the opportunity to pursue a Daemen education with no tuition increase throughout their four years of undergraduate studies.

Starting this fall, the early decision option will allow prospective students to apply to Daemen and receive a prompt admission decision prior to Thanksgiving. It is a binding admission plan, meaning that, when an early decision student makes a tuition deposit, they will commit to attending Daemen and will withdraw their applications to other colleges and universities.

“Early decision is a great option for new first-year students who know Daemen is their top choice college, and it will allow them to complete their college search process earlier in their senior year,” said Dr. Greg Nayor, vice president for strategic initiatives. “With the four-year tuition guarantee, students will know the total cost of their Daemen education right from their first year through graduation, helping to keep tuition affordable and predictable so families may plan accordingly for educational expenses. Keeping tuition costs stable will also make higher education more accessible to more students.”

Daemen will begin accepting early decision applications immediately. Students who have already applied will have the chance to change to early decision applications, which are due by Nov. 1. Early decision students who make a tuition deposit by Dec. 20 will receive the four-year undergraduate tuition guarantee.

To assist prospective students and their families with the early decision option, Daemen will hold an online chat at daemen.edu/earlydecision on Oct. 9 with admissions and financial aid representatives.

Austin Brass, director of undergraduate admissions, noted, “As with regular decision applicants, early decision students will also receive priority application status for the college’s most competitive programs, including nursing, physician assistant, physical therapy, animation, and the pre-veterinary 3+4 program offered in partnership with Lincoln Memorial University.”

In addition to early decision, students may apply through Daemen’s regular decision process but will not be eligible for the four-year tuition guarantee.
