Daemen University Welcomes Students to Campus for New Academic Year

Sep 4, 2026

Daemen University welcomed new students and their families to campus today for move-in and orientation to kick off the 2026-27 academic year.

Students from 17 states, including California, Michigan, and North Carolina, and international students from across the globe, including Canada, Portugal, and New Zealand, arrived on campus excited to meet their roommates, explore the grounds, and settle into their new home away from home before classes begin on Tuesday, September 8.

Daemen projects stable enrollment year over year, bolstered by interest in new undergraduate programs, including a BFA in Studio Arts, BA in Strategic Communication, and BS in Marketing, as well as two new graduate programs—an MS in Health Psychology and a PhD in Behavioral Sciences.

“It’s always an exciting time to welcome students to Daemen for the new academic year,” said Megan Beardi, director of undergraduate admissions. “They are filled with so much potential and we look forward to encouraging their continued growth as they prepare to make their mark on the world.”
