AMHERST, N.Y. – The top 10 first-year Daemen College students who earned the highest grade point average in their first year at the college were recently recognized at an on-campus luncheon held in their honor.

The celebration included special acknowledgements from honored students for faculty members they consider inspirational in their academic success at the college. Congratulatory remarks were also given by Dr. Michael Brogan, senior vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, and Sabrina Fennell, assistant vice president for student success.

“To be among the top 10 students in the first-year class is truly an honor of distinction,” said Brogan. “We are proud to celebrate the academic achievements of these exceptional students and are confident the skills, knowledge, and talents they are building at Daemen will put them on the path to future professional success.”
