Coursework places a heavy emphasis on statistical, analytical, computer programming, and communication and writing skills to ensure graduates are well-prepared to assist employers in making data-informed decisions while identifying opportunities for organization and process improvement. While major coursework in the program is taught primarily through the Department of Mathematics, existing courses offered through other academic departments provide students a choice of four specialization areas:

  • Health Promotion
  • Marketing
  • Political Science
  • Sport Management

In addition, a standard curriculum is also available for students who do not wish to specialize but prefer a more substantive mathematics/computer science background.
