Intisar Hibschweiler is a professor in Mathematics and Chairperson. Hibschweiler holds a Ph.D. from University at Albany and a Master and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Jordan. Hibschweiler is deeply committed to improving students learning through assignment redesign and assessment at the course and program level. She is fond of teaching and enjoys working with students from a variety of backgrounds. Hibschweiler's research is focused on Complex Analysis and Univalent Function Theory.

Dr. James Ricci was selected for the prestigious AMS-AAAS Congressional Fellowship awarded through the American Mathematical Society (AMS) in conjunction with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). As a fellow, James will be placed on the staff of a member of Congress or congressional committee to serve as a legislative assistant in legislative and policy areas requiring science, technology, or education expertise. He will begin his fellowship with a month-long orientation process on legislative and executive operations and then go through a matching period to be placed with a member of Congress or congressional committee that fits best. The fellowship will take James to Washington, DC for the next academic term.
