What Is Planned Giving?

DID YOU KNOW?

Committing upfront cash is not the only way to make a charitable gift.  You can choose one or more of a variety of giving techniques that offer a number of advantages. And you can make a larger gift than you thought possible!

What is Planned Giving?

Planned giving is simply the act of thoughtfully selecting ways to give that help you meet your charitable goals…and Daemen’s.

Planed gifts include:

  • A bequest in your will
  • Estate designations in a trust, retirement plan, IRA, or life insurance policy naming Daemen College as the beneficiary or co-beneficiary
  • Charitable life income arrangement, such as a charitable remainder trust
  • Charitable lead trust
  • Gift of real estate with retained life use

For more information on all planned giving options, in confidence and with no obligation, please contact:

The United States and Venezuela are two different countries with different cultures and values, therefore the education is different. As I see it, the books, theories and the knowledge are all the same no matter where you are. What makes the difference is how the teacher is going to transmit all that to the student and what approach the teacher is going to use so the student can apply it in the future. At Daemen as a student we have the chance to create a good relationship with the teachers, which is priceless when we are in college.

Planned Giving
The M. Angela Canavan, OSF Legacy Society was established to recognize those thoughtful members of the Rosary Hill/Daemen College community who have made a provision for the college in their estate plans through a bequest, life insurance policy, trust, retirement plan, IRA or other planned gift.
