Program Benefits

  • Part-time study is available to meet the needs of working nurses.
  • Students can transfer previous graduate nursing coursework from other institutions with approval of the nursing department chair.
  • Students have the opportunity to provide input into their clinical site selection with assistance from the program director to ensure timely program completion. 
  • Students have an individual faculty advisor who is available on campus for appointments as needed.
  • Daemen nursing students have access to free educational information from the Why Wound Care initiative.
  • Faculty are highly credentialed, board certified nurse practitioners who continue to practice clinically in addition to having research and leadership experience.

Daemen’s Center for Interprofessional Learning and Simulation (CILS) provides students experiential learning opportunities to promote best practice and collaboration. This leads to improved health and well-being outcomes for individuals, organizations, and communities!
