AMHERST, N.Y. – Daemen College has received a $125,000 grant from the George I. Alden Trust to support an extensive renovation project in a general biology laboratory, the second phase of an improvement initiative underway in the college’s science facilities housed in Duns Scotus Hall.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Daemen College’s athletic training graduates have for the fifth consecutive year achieved a 100 percent first-time pass rate on the rigorous National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification exam, a rate that far surpasses the national average of 83 percent.

6:30 PM to 8:00 PM - Lumsden Gymnasium: What: The Daemen College Women’s Volleyball Team will be hosting a series of Jr Wildcat Winter Clinics. Participants will learn how to pass, set, serve, dig, and most importantly… SPIKE! The fundamentals of the game will be taught in a fun, high-energy setting with the Daemen coaching staff and players. Who: Girls and Boys grades 3-8. No prior experience required! When: Thursdays 6:30-8:00 pm (Dates: 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 3/29)- 4 Sessions Where: Lumsden Gymnasium Why: Because volleyball is fun! The sport also teaches important concepts such as teamwork, effort, and good sportsmanship in a fun atmosphere. How (Much): $75 for 4 sessions Enrollment includes a Daemen Volleyball t-shirt.
