Daemen College Career Services offers a variety of services to undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni to assist them in their career decision-making and job search process. All of our services are voluntary, with student/alumni choosing the services that are best suited to their needs.
Tiffany Dillon is the current President for the Buffalo Niagara Human Resource Association (BNHRA). She has also served as the BNHRA’s College Relations Director which allowed her to work with students from various colleges across Western New York. It is with this experience that she realized her passion for working directly with students and assisting them with their career and professional development. Tiffany has previously worked as both a Recruiter and Staffing Manager for one of the premier staffing agencies in Buffalo. Tiffany’s earlier career stemmed from her culinary degree from Johnson & Wales University which lead her to intern at Rich Products Corporation in their Talent Acquisition department. She received her Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College.

Mr. Lamark Shaw is the Director of Career Services and an adjunct professor who teaches CFE101 at Daemen College. Mr. Shaw also is the Sales Manager/Buyer for United Men’s Fashion in Buffalo, New York. He has a BS in Design from Buffalo State College, MS in Organizational Leadership from Medaille College and an Entrepreneurial Leadership Certificate from the University of Buffalo. Mr. Shaw is currently working on his Ph.D. in Organization and Management at Capella University.

Originally from Rochester, New York. I attended the University At Buffalo where I completed my undergraduate degree in the field of Health and Human Services with a constriction of community Mental Health with a minor in Counseling. Currently in my last semester of the Graduate School of Education for my Maters in Higher Education Administration.
Michelle Thompson is the Employer and Student Relations Coordinator. In addition to providing administrative support and supervising the Career Peer Coaches, Michelle is responsible for the project management of career fairs and onsite employer recruitment. Having previously worked at Autism Services, Inc. and the Research Foundation of SUNY Buffalo, she brings with her an extensive background in projects management, grants management, budget development, fiscal forecasting, personnel and office management.
Lauren Reczek is a current graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration program at SUNY Buffalo State. Lauren is passionate about building relationships with students in order to enhance their transferrable skills and prepare for their future careers. Her knowledge of leadership, advising, and technology enables her to use her talents to assist Career Services in their programming. In the past, she has worked in nonprofit special events, volunteer management, and consumer business.
