Why did you choose Daemen?

I chose Daemen University due to its astounding commitment to the betterment of its students from an academic and personal standpoint. The lower class sizes permit for one-on-one interaction with staff which is a rarity in the study of the natural sciences atop of an impressive athletics program that secures the greatest possible resources for each team success. Additionally, the welcoming nature of the campus itself made even a 15 minute drive unbearable in the option of living in a inviting dormitory housing space.

In what ways are you involved on campus?

I am a proudly active member of Honors Society, Tri Beta, the Pre-medicine Club, the CAT team, tour guiding, chemistry academic coaching, and a cross country and track distance athlete.

What advice would you give to a prospective student?

I highly recommend being involved in anything you can! I know the phrase is certainly generic, but take pride in your interests and display your passions to highlight your excitement on campus. There are plenty of teams, clubs, undertakings, jobs, and residential options that can aid your holistic experience at university, so be do not be afraid to take up these offerings!

What excites you most about being a tour guide?

I am beyond honored to be a tour guide as I have been provided the position to meet such promising prospective students, and their families, and navigate them through a critical period of scholastic and personal growth in the scope of my knowledge on the everlasting opportunity surrounding an education at Daemen University.

What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?

My most memorable moment at Daemen was the Bassett Park cross country meet in which my incredible roommates, supportive friend, Jack, family, and teammates cheered me on for the finish of my first college 5K.

How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?

In being a member of the Wildcat community for a year, I have been privileged to receive a phenomenal education, being a part of a unique team atmosphere, and meeting remarkable peers and staff that seek to enhance the numerous collegiate endeavors of those around them.

Who inspires you the most?

I am inspired most by my parents in their sacrifices to ensure the best for my family and in their efforts to further inspire my siblings and I to reach our fullest potential.
