All day event - Daemen College: 2018 WILDCATS GIRLS VOLLEYBALL CAMPS DAEMEN ELITE PROSPECT VOLLEYBALL CAMP Thursday July 26th–Saturday July 28th This advanced training camp will cater to the experienced volleyball player that is looking for a competitive camp experience where she can work on improving all of her volleyball skills. We recommend campers have one full year of varsity level experience and club experience. All campers registering for this camp must be rising 9th-12th graders. Camp registration will be capped at 40. WHEN: Camp Check-in will begin Thursday July 26th at 1:30p.m. for overnight campers with the first session at 3:00p.m. Check-out will be on Saturday July 27th at 11:45a.m. REGISTRATION: Please visit daemen.edu/sportscamps to register and for more camp details. Overnight camp cost is $280 and commuters cost is $180. MEALS: Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided to overnight campers. Commuter campers will be provided with lunch and dinner. OVERNIGHT STAY: Overnight campers will be in charge of bringing pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, toiletries, etc. in order to furbish the dorm rooms. Campers will be housed in our air-conditioned on campus apartments. INSURANCE: Each participant should have medical insurance. Any medical bills incurred will be billed to the participant’s insurance company. Campers will be separated by age, skill level, and experience, allowing for consistent level of competition on each court. Each physical skill will be covered; serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and floor defense. Additionally, other aspects of the game will be addressed including court IQ and teamwork. This fun and engaging camp will provide a balance between skill instruction and game play, allowing each camper to implement their techniques in a game-like environment. Includes a camp t-shirt.
