What is a Resident Assistant?
Resident Assistants (RAs) are undergraduate students who serve as a first line to support their residents. As students themselves, RAs have frequent contact with their residents as support peers, leaders, educators, and community builders. RAs are responsible for developing an inclusive, vibrant living learning community within their floor. RAs are supervised by a professional staff member. There is approximately one RA for every 25 students in Canavan Hall, and one RA for every 30 students in the Campus Apartments.
