Heather Maclin is the new Director of Student Activities and oversees the Office of Student Activities providing direction, training, and support for student clubs and organizations, as well as, acting as the advisor to SGA and IGA. Ms. Maclin comes to Daemen with extensive experience in student activities, event planning, contract negotiation, community building, and small group facilitation. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, she obtained her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Ms. Maclin is the former Assistant Director of Wilson Commons Student Activities at the University of Rochester.
I will be overseeing Student Clubs/Orgs, Greek Life, and Student Government Association!

I recently graduated from Canisius College with a master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration. I also hold my bachelors degree in Sport Management from Niagara University. I have worked in Undergraduate Admissions, Residence Life, Campus Activities, and a number of additional offices in my time at both Canisius College and Niagara University. I also was a part of our master’s programs government association.
I will be overseeing Campus-wide Programming & the Campus Activities Team!
