Wellness Initiatives
The CHIP Center partners with community-based organizations to offer on-campus wellness opportunities and services for students. These include but are not limited to free and low cost screenings for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), flu shot clinics, wellness spotlights, and blood drives.
We partner with different community organizations to offer a variety of confidential sexual health services on campus to our students. Our partners include Kaleida Family Planning Center and Erie County Department of Health.
- Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) comes on campus to provide FREE STI testing and linkage to treatment. A student can be tested for Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Trichomonas through a urine sample.

Screening Dates

Daemen University is proud to partner with Wegmans Pharmacy to offer flu shot clinics on campus! Clinics are open to Daemen students, faculty, and staff members. Appointments are encouraged but not required.
An email will also be sent to the campus community when flu shot clinics are available with the link to sign up for an appointment. For more information, contact the CHIP Center at 716-839-7380.
In collaboration with Daemen's Student Physical Therapy Association (SPTA) and the Athletics Department, ConnectLife offers on-campus blood drives during the academic year. Blood drives are open to the campus community!
