Why did you choose Daemen?

I chose Daemen due to the atmosphere and how it was not too far away from my house as I am a commuter. As well as if your a commuter there is plenty of opportunities you can do to get involved that is not just for residents. I also enjoyed  how the class sizes are not huge. I enjoy my one on one time. Also I liked the Academic Wellness Center with the gym in it.

In what ways are you involved on campus?

I am a tour guide on campus, secretary in Nursing Student Organization, and recently a Orientation Leader

What advice would you give to a prospective student?

To not give up when life gets hard. Keep persevering and give your self good words of wisdom through tough times.

What excites you most about being a tour guide?

What excites me the most. Is that a possible student is considering Daemen and they are exited and they engage. I also enjoy being around people and its exited when the student and families ask questions as well.

What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?

My most memorable moment  was at orientation. It was during Wild Cat Bash. There was a little dance party on the basketball courts. And there was a dance circle and I went in the dance circle and danced and everyone hyped me up and took videos of it. It was super fun and there was also a mechanical chicken wing that I rode and me and two other girls got cowboy hats because we had one of the best times. That's why I loved Daemen at that moment.

How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?

Daemen has changed me as a person. I am more prepared now. I am able to have good study strategies and seek help when needed. I am also not afraid to get help. Due to the fact it is a good thing.  Daemen also  made me seek many opportunities and gain time management skills.

Who inspires you the most?

The person who inspires me the most is my cousin Jackie. She was in the military as a national guard. She worked so hard in life as only being in her 20s. She also is a personal trainer. And she goes to school to be a health nutritionist. I look up to her a lot because she conquered all the hard science classes and had good time management as well.  Also I enjoy working out as well. So I learn from her a lot.
