Why did you choose Daemen University?

Good vibes :)

Why did you choose your present major?

I chose physician assistant because there's more of an opportunity to interact with patients, and when you could get a patient's story, it'll better guide your diagnosis which allows you to treat them effectively. The profession also offers flexibility between specialties and work schedules.

Please briefly describe your Scholar's Day.

At my Scholar's day, I was nervous on whether or not I'll make it. However, just being true to who you are instead of "fake it til you make it" can get you further in life.

Please describe your academic experience at Daemen.

So far, my academic experience is like a roller coaster, but once I've find out what I do best (took me a couple years) then it will get better. It can be challenging but there's no other school or place I would've gotten my education besides Daemen. If you need any help, feel free to contact me :) Also reach out to your professors & don't feel like you're going to bother them especially if you need help with something.

What do you like best about Daemen?

What's there not to like about Daemen

Please describe any internship, study abroad, service learning or academic experience?

Service learning is an extremely humbling experience. Sometimes life gets busy where we're all used to doing a specific things such as sleep --> school/work --> eat --> sleep and the cycle goes on. With an opportunity of being a part of a service learning project, it opens up another new world and a new perspective on things we thought we already knew. In my personal opinion, I guess it was just nice being exposed to situations that you would probably never encounter.

What is your favorite spot to stop by in town?

Foot of Ferry/Downtown to hang around or Grant Street/Niagara St for food

What piece of advice would you give to prospective students?

It's okay not to be okay, don't beat yourself up over something in the past because why focus on that when you can put that energy to the present and the future
