Why did you choose Daemen?

Daemen offers a small, close-knit community with its unique 5-year degree track. The small community allows students to connect directly with faculty one-on-one, and with the students attending. It allows new friendships and relationships to be formed, being very different from a large campus community. Daemen is also known for their reputable success in career-oriented outcomes and preparation for the future.

In what ways are you involved on campus?

I am in the Physician Assistant Student Society as a part of my major. I also volunteer for events open to students and prospective tour guides like fall open house. I hope, as the years progress, to be involved in more organizations on campus, like rez life.

What advice would you give to a prospective student?

Wherever you are meant to go, you will end up there. Do not stress about the future but be smart with your choices. Do what you need to do to benefit your personal, academic, and professional life.

What excites you most about being a tour guide?

Being a tour guide allows me to be one of the first people prospective students and families meet at Daemen. I want to share my genuine experiences and help others picture themselves here, as tour guides did for me.

What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?

The most memorable moment I had at Daemen was on the second night of staying on campus. My floor mates and I were brought out of our rooms to play a game of Granny. This experience allowed the bonding to some of my closest friends on campus now.

How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?

Daemen has changed my academic and social life. Academically, Daemen has challenged me in a way high school never achieved. I was forced to learn actual study methods and understand the true nature of studying. Socially, as it was very difficult for me to make friends, Daemen allowed an open community to make new connections and creating life long relationships.

Who inspires you the most?

The fourth-year PA students inspire me the most. They are in their second-to-last year of PA school, enduring many obstacles in their academic career. They inspire me to work as hard as I can, but also know that it is possible to get through the program and to achieve greatness academically.
