Why did you choose Daemen?
I chose Daemen because of its small, inclusive environment. From my first visit to campus during a seventh-grade volleyball camp, I felt a strong sense of positivity and belonging. I was also drawn to Daemen’s smaller class sizes, which allow professors to know me personally rather than seeing me as just a name on paper.
In what ways are you involved on campus?
I was an academic coach for CMP 101 and was a Peer Mentor for the first year students last Fall. I also participate in the Center for Allied and Unified Sport and Exercise (CAUSE). This program works with those with disabilities to get together and engage in physical activity, a couple times throughout each semester. I am also apart of the Pre-Med/Pre-Dent club on campus.
What advice would you give to a prospective student?
I encourage students to become involved on campus because there are a lot of engaging events and it is a great way to meet people. I also believe it is important to maintain a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and social life.
What excites you most about being a tour guide?
Being a part of a community that unites around shared goals, representing our university, and guiding students as they begin the meaningful journey of choosing where to spend the next couple of years of their lives.
What is your most memorable moment at Daemen?
My most memorable moment at Daemen was going to my friend's apartment and baking a cake together. We decorated it with our 2025 achievements and 2026 goals, turning it into a sweet celebration of our successes.
How has Daemen changed or shaped your life?
Getting involved on campus has given me a sense of belonging and pushed me beyond my comfort zone, leading me to discover new passions even when it felt intimidating.
Who inspires you the most?
My dad inspires me the most because he gives it his all in everything he does, even when facing challenges. I admire his dedication and how he strives to be better. He always puts our family first, creating a safe and comfortable environment for us. He's the one who passed on his love for the New York Yankees and Buffalo Bills, sparking a passion in me that we share.
