January 18 President Olson announces the search committee and sets charge for the search process.  The position posting and website goes live online. Recruitment process begins with personalized letters and additional recruitment efforts by the chair.
January 19 First Meeting of Search Committee
February 14 Search Committee meets to select candidates for Zoom interviews
Feb 21-24 Zoom interviews with select candidates
Feb 25 Review of Zoom interviews. Search committee chooses finalists for on-campus interviews
March 7-11 On-Campus Interviews
March 14 Final Meeting of Search Committee to analyze on campus Interviews. Chair conducts reference checks
March 16 Chair meets with President Olson and Senior VP for Academic Affairs to provide final recommendations from the committee.
March 18 The Senior VP for Academic Affairs selects the founding dean with a tentative start date of June 1st.
